Scan VietQR to pay
In a VND budget, tap Scan QR to pay in Overview. Scan the code, review the amount, choose a wallet and category, then tap Save & open. Confirm the transfer in your banking app.

Track a credit card
Open Cards, add a card, and enter its statement date and payment due date. Choose cashback rules if needed. Enable reminders and mark cycles as paid after making the payment.

Add an expense
Tap +, enter the amount, choose a category and wallet, then tap Save. A note is optional.

Set a limit
Open Budgets, choose a category, and set the amount for the period. The app will remind you as you approach it.

Add a widget
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap +, find Vén Wallet, and choose the small or large widget.

Share a budget
Open Budget Settings, choose Share, and send the iCloud invitation to the person you want to include.

Export a backup
Open Settings, choose Backup, then export the ZIP file to Files or storage you trust.

Import existing data
Open Import from Another App, choose a CSV file, match the date, amount, and note columns, then review everything before importing.

Does scanning a QR code transfer money automatically?
No. Vén saves the expense and opens your banking app; you review and confirm the payment there. MB Bank, VietinBank, BIDV, ACB, and OCB support recipient and amount prefill. Other banks require scanning the QR again. If you did not pay, undo the entry when returning to Vén or delete it from your history.
Why is Scan QR missing?
The button appears only when the current budget uses VND. Camera permission is also required to scan a code.
Do card balances and cashback match my bank statement?
Vén calculates from the transactions and rules you enter, without retrieving bank data. Check the official statement. The free version tracks one card; Premium lets you add more.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Vén Wallet has no separate account system. Sync and sharing use your iCloud account only when you enable them.
What if I forget my PIN?
Vén Wallet does not keep a copy of your PIN. If Face ID cannot unlock the app, you will need to reinstall it and restore a backup you exported earlier.
Where are automatic backups stored?
The seven most recent backups stay on the device itself. Enable iCloud Backup for your iPhone or periodically export a file to Files.
Are receipt photos uploaded?
No. Receipt details are read on your iPhone, and the photos are not included in iCloud sync. Use a backup if you want to move them to another device.
Why can investment prices be delayed?
Prices come from third-party market sources, and the app keeps the most recent value. They are for reference and may not match live trading prices.
Does the full version renew?
No. It is a one-time App Store purchase. You can restore it with the same Apple ID.
